LOVE MONTH: DAY 30: “When someone is in your heart, they’re never truly gone. They can come back to you, even at unlikely times.”― Mitch Albom
The greatest difficulty for we humans is to recognize that we cannot love in the physical realm only. Our hearts and souls are spirit, not physical. So, love cannot be made manifest in only the physical realm. It transcends it.
I used to love reading books by Richard Bach. He wrote so well of transcendental love and spirit. It always resonated with my soul. His love stories were transformative for me in my early years of recovery. And I got to have a love like that years later. It was amazing.
We have so many spiritual lessons here to learn. And we cannot limit spirit to this realm, or we are not learning them well. Perhaps it is the limitations of our Ego that create such terrific confusion for those who cannot grasp this.
We cannot lose energy. It just shifts into another dimension and space. We only lose our physical expression of that. So, when someone leaves, it is more about learning to accept this form of them, as if they have travelled into another room or town. The energy has shifted, not gone completely. That is what spirit is all about.
I feel the presence of my loved ones all the time. Even old friends who have not been around in a very long time are with me in spirit and so many ways. I cannot experience them physically, but that is the least of the experience of energy anyway.
I am grateful for Mr. Bach and his stories of love. They gave me a grasp of these concepts long before I was able to wrap it all up in the understanding I have today of a spiritual journey on this physical plane. I love that!
So, it is not that anyone travels back and forth into this physical realm, but that the energy of them does. It cannot be seen all the time, but it sure can be felt. And that is a great reminder that when we love, we love for eternity. It does not end, nor does it turn into anything else. It is just energy, but the most powerful force in the Universe!
