FAITH MONTH: DAY 15: “This is what the past is for! Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see.” ― Corrie Ten Boom

I get to see this all the time. When I wonder why I am different in some way to another, why I see things a bit differently, I get a moment of clarity and “Aha!”

We are all on a spiritual journey. Some of us are going to be in a beginning and wondering state, and some of us are developing hard-earned knowledge and wisdom that is a step ahead of that, and there are some who are in a stage from there and so on. We are all developing and growing at varying stages of spiritual development.

I love that! If we were all in the same place, our lessons would not be here for us to learn. I truly believe that is part of the reason we are in this form, in this place, at this time. Whatever controversial figures we have interfaced with in the past, they came to us with a great deal of teaching to perform. Maybe we learned, maybe we didn’t. But  that was their purpose, and nothing is wasted in the process.

We don’t always see it like that. I certainly did not. Today I do. Wisdom comes from the understanding we can reach when we look for and find purpose in what seems to be random and dis-associated events. I have faith that everything is perfect, because I can see that it always has been. There is some that I do not understand, but the job is mine to seek understanding.

Life is kind of like a dot-to-dot picture that I can create a masterpiece from, when all the dots are finally connected. There might be a lot of them that do not connect for many years, so I don’t always know how the masterpiece is coming out; but it will reveal itself to me in time. That is why faith is what I have to consistently turn to. The certainty is not yet mine.

Frankly, I am excited and impatient to view my masterpiece. I know what some of the big chunks of it are, but am really curious about all the rest.

No matter, I do have the faith that, in time, I will know what I came here to know. And will accomplish what I came here to accomplish. It will manifest and I will see the masterpiece. Meanwhile, I am working on just sitting still with what IS while that unfolds. I am sure there are a few brush strokes I can make today.

My love of dolphins includes the stories of them being healers in places all over the world. I long to offer every broken spirit and body the experience of a healing hug. May my words and stories inform, uplift and delight your spirit and soothe your weary heart.
