This is an old friend as far as quotes go. I have used it many times because it resonates with me deeply.
We all have some deep truths to swallow as we go along this recovery road.
A lot of them WILL set us free, because the lies we tell ourselves are deadly and dangerous to maintain any longer. I am a truth speaker and always will be. I know I upset people when I don’t pat their egos and keep up with the delusions they are under.
Okay by me. I will do what I feel is best to help, even when it pisses someone off because I am blunt. I know it hurts for a minute, but that is better than hurting for even one minute longer with the lies. We get free from so many things doing this thing. The steps are truly the road to freedom. And I love them more than anything else in this world.
I love the deep healing we can give ourselves as a gift of life and light and love and freedom. I wish this for you as well.
