We can read all the literature in the world about a spiritual experience and its manifestation. Most of the time, the same message comes through, but we seldom see it or believe it when we do. It is that there is a soul, a spirit that resides within us that is what we are seeking. It is IN all the time.
We carry the Spirit of the Universe within our hearts, within our souls, within our Essence. That is the secret we are all here to uncover. It does not matter how many people tell us it is there.
It is our own discovery of this truth that will free us from the shackles of humanity; of this earthly, dark existence that so many of us have.
We keep believing, ad nauseum, that there is something we must DO to get this connection. There is not. There is only the UN-doing that is what works for the connection to be made. It is like a house built with concealed electrical connections. We must tear down the walls that cover the wires and allow the connections (plugs) to be put into place so we can access the power.
(That was a new analogy for me…kinda weird, but you get it…right?) Anyway, we are sleep-walking through this world, scared of finding the thing that we carry inside us the whole time, hiding, if you will, from the Power we say we so desperately want to reach; but never connecting because the belief that we cannot is the problem we are here to eradicate.
WE CAN! And we DO! The analogy that I love the most was made in The Wizard of Oz; when the good witch tells Dorothy that she had the power to go home all along. All she had to do was close her eyes and click her heels three times. We can do that too!
It only takes the belief that we are walking spirits and we can live like that. It is all about the choice we make to walk around in fear and Ego or the choice to walk around in Spirit and Peace. I love this! This quote is an amazing piece of truth about the Grace we are all in right now! There is nowhere to go, except away from our heads and into our soul (heart is my favorite way to say it.)
I only long to remain there as much of the time as possible. It is interesting when I get out of Spirit and into Ego. But it comes back today. I am so grateful for that! I lost it for a few days, stuff happens, and I am gone…off to the land of the SPM…ugh! Today I am back and grateful as hell for this peace. May we all live here as much as possible.
